idea

in „the glow“ - the product = the beer = the bottle - is put on stage. the beer bottle, the most authentic representative of the beck‘s-brand, becomes the signifier of the „beck‘s outlet“ and stimulates social interaction.


spatial conception

„the glow“ creates a luminous, pleasant, empty space. at first glance the only visible elements are the bottles, the counter and the people interacting in space. spatial tools are a 0.75m high platform, an equally dimensioned roof, with a 3.00m high empty space in between and a translucent

the rest of the 200m2 space is kept free of any installations. the only object is the counter offering endless beer dispension.

exterior skin

the meshed skin is used for brand-related projections from the interior and equally enables a visual connection between exterior and interior. three „conversation pits“ are inserted into the platform, providing more intimate seating and socializing areas. the rest of the 200m² space is kept free of any installations. the only object is the counter offering endless beer dispension.


corporate identity

„the glow“ picks up the current „beck‘s“ - italy campaign, which utilizes strong black and white motion pictures and introduces the „beck‘s“-bottle in its strong coulours of green, white and red at the end of the spots. „the glow“-outlet intends to work with the same corporate image, of reduced image coulours which let the viewer / user focus on the brand.
